Later in the game, you'll be able to start upgrading how many Spritelings you can bring with you. Here, you can hatch more Spritelings, recruit or withdraw them, and dismiss any lost Spritelings you couldn't find in the wild. It looks like a tree stump with a blue glow inside of it. Spirit Wells are found at campsites and at The Grove. With this egg, you can hatch more Spritelings at a Spirit Well. The type of Spriteling egg you get depends on what type of Spriteling broke the plant. By throwing a Spriteling at these plants, they will break and drop Spriteling eggs. There will be blue or purple heart-shaped plants growing around every map. Regardless of what happens, it's completely normal and there's an easy way to get more. Whether that is because you abandoned them in the dark, lost them, or they were killed by an enemy. The color of the highlighted number will also represent the type of Spriteling needed. Any object that needs Spritelings to build or carry will highlight how many Spritelings are needed when you get close to it.

In the photo above, the Twiglings were thrown into the pile of sticks, which made them automatically pick them up and build the bridge. You have to throw Spritelings at things for them to get to work. To defeat enemies, you need Spritelings as your hands and feet simply won't do. You will have to throw them at enemies and the Deep Woods.

Spritelings are your main line of defense against enemies.
